🥤 Orange soda
Orange soda is a sweet, fizzy soft drink made from carbonated water, sugar and orange juice concentrate. It is bright, sugary and lightly tangy, with a much sweeter taste than fresh orange juice. It is sold chilled in cans and bottles and is a common drink with fast food, at parties and with family meals.

What it is made of
Recipe
Ingredients
- 330 ml chilled orange soda
- Ice cubes
- 1 slice of fresh orange (optional)
Method
- Chill the can or bottle well before serving.
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Pour the soda over the ice and garnish with an orange slice.
How to make it lighter
- A 330 ml can is about 150 kcal, almost all from sugar — count it like a snack.
- Mix half soda with half sparkling water and fresh orange slices for the same fizz with half the sugar.
- Choose a small glass over ice instead of a large bottle.
History
