🥞 Pancakes
Pancakes are soft, fluffy cakes made from a batter of flour, eggs and milk, cooked on a hot pan until golden on both sides. They are served in a warm stack topped with a knob of butter and a generous pour of maple syrup. The texture is light and tender, and they are a classic breakfast or brunch dish.
