🔥 S'mores
S'mores are a campfire treat made by toasting a marshmallow over a flame until golden and molten inside, then sandwiching it with a square of chocolate between two graham crackers. The heat of the marshmallow softens the chocolate, giving a gooey, sticky centre between crisp, honey-flavoured crackers. They are eaten straight away by hand, often around a bonfire.

- Use a thin square of chocolate instead of a thick piece.
- Serve with fresh fruit such as strawberries to round out the treat.
History
S'mores are closely tied to American camping and scouting culture; a recipe for 'Some Mores' appeared in a Girl Scouts publication in 1927, and the name is usually explained as a contraction of 'some more'. They remain a summer campfire classic across the United States and Canada.
