🌴 Khalas dates
Khalas is one of the most prized date varieties of the Gulf: medium-sized, amber to golden brown, with soft flesh and a rich caramel, toffee-like sweetness. The dates are eaten as they are, a few at a time. They are traditionally offered to guests with Arabic coffee and are a common way to break the fast in Ramadan.
