🌶️ Pizza Diavola
Pizza diavola is a spicy Italian pizza of tomato sauce and mozzarella topped with slices of hot salami and chilli. In the oven the salami crisps at the edges and releases its paprika-red oil into the melted cheese. It is fiery, savoury and served whole and hot.

Diavola means 'devil' in Italian, a nod to the heat from the spicy salami and chilli. It is a standard pizza across Italy and is similar to what many English-speaking countries call a pepperoni pizza. The traditional salami contains pork.
