🍪 Protein Balls
Protein balls are no-bake bite-sized snacks made by mixing rolled oats, peanut butter, honey and protein powder, then rolling the dough into balls. They are dense and chewy, with a sweet, nutty flavour, and hold their shape after chilling. They are popular as a portable snack between meals or after exercise.

Recipe
Ingredients
- 120 g rolled oats
- 120 g peanut butter
- 60 g honey
- 60 g protein powder
- 2–4 tbsp water
- Pinch of salt
Method
- Stir the peanut butter and honey together until smooth (warm briefly if stiff).
- Add the oats, protein powder and salt and mix well.
- Add water a spoonful at a time until the mixture holds together when pressed.
- Roll into 12 balls of about 30 g and chill for at least 30 minutes before eating.
How to make it lighter
- Make 15–16 smaller balls from the same mixture for an easy portion cut.
- Reduce the honey to 30 g; the protein powder already adds sweetness in many blends.
- Store them in the fridge in a measured container to keep track of how many you eat.
