🥗 Shopska Salad (Serbian Style)
Shopska salad is a chopped salad of ripe tomatoes, cucumber, onion and roasted peppers, covered with a snowy layer of grated sirene, a white brined cheese. In Serbia it is a fixture of every grill house, eaten alongside ćevapi and other grilled meats. It is fresh, crunchy and salty, dressed simply with oil, vinegar and salt.
