Questions

How much protein do I need a day?

For most healthy adults the reference intake is about 0.8 g per kg of body weight. Older adults and people who train regularly are often advised more. Our protein calculator shows the ranges.

Which foods are high in protein?

Meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy, tofu, tempeh, beans, lentils, nuts and seeds.

Can I track protein without weighing food?

Yes. A photo of your meal gives a good estimate. You can adjust the portion if you ate only part of it.

Does it work for vegetarians and vegans?

Yes. The app recognises dishes from around the world and shows protein for plant-based dishes too.
